2012 Special Edition Sketch Why do you Occupy Museums (An interview with Lucas Berd)
2014 Sketch #3 What Do You Stand For?
This sketch was made for The Metropolitan Museum of Art Employee Art Exhibit. It is a long standing tradition of the museum and I am very happy to be a part of it.
I made this sketch in protest of the unsafe working conditions of forcing guards to stand 8-10 hours a day. This practice is outdated, inhumane and it should not be that way. Many guards suffer from lower extremity injuries after working for just a few months. A majority that stay longer end up with permanent injuries, as well as accrued medical expenses.
